Fourth Grade Reading

In class we have read the book, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steig.  I like this book because Sylvester, a donkey, finds a red pebble. He finds out that the pebble is magic in the middle of the book . He accidentally turns his self into a rock. His parents looked for him everywhere. One day his parents went on a picnic and they set their stuff on the rock that was Sylvester.  The Dad said, I wish Sylvester was here.  The rock turned back into Sylvester and they lived happily ever after.  I enjoyed this book because it was funny that a donkey turned into a rock.-Lillian
